The 2026 China International New Energy and Intelligent Connected Vehicle Exhibition opened on October 21–24 at the Beijing Beiren Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a national-level authoritative industry event in the intelligent connected vehicle sector, the exhibition gathered leading automakers and industry chain partners to showcase cutting-edge technologies, production-ready solutions and deployment ecosystems in new energy and intelligent connectivity. Stardubhe presented its in-vehicle satellite internet products and solutions, and Founder/CEO Cheng Yinghui was invited on stage to deliver a keynote titled "Stardubhe – Introduction to In-Vehicle Satellite Internet," sharing with the industry new trends and implementation paths for in-vehicle satellite communication.
Beyond terrestrial cellular networks, satellite internet is filling the all-domain communication gaps of intelligent mobility. In the past, in-vehicle satellite communication was largely an optional feature on a small number of high-end models; in this keynote, Stardubhe made a clear judgment: satellite communication on the vehicle side is accelerating from a high-end option to an industry standard for intelligent connected vehicles, and is an essential capability for high-level autonomous driving and mid-to-high-end consumer mobility.
Autonomous driving imposes rigid requirements for communication safety redundancy. Signal blind spots such as mountainous areas, open wilderness, highway sections and underground tunnels have long been pain points constraining the scaled deployment of intelligent driving. Satellite internet is not limited by ground base stations and builds space-ground integrated communication links, providing a critical backup communication channel for autonomous driving and supporting remote dispatch and status feedback. On the consumer side, all-domain online capability can also support connectivity services, emergency SOS and location reporting in areas without signal, delivering a more reliable and reassuring travel experience for users.
Based on this industry direction, Stardubhe adopts a dual-track implementation approach of "operational scenarios + consumer scenarios," serving B-end operational needs such as fleet operation management, Robotaxi and special vehicles, as well as C-end consumer needs such as all-domain connectivity and emergency assurance for passenger car owners, forming a complete closed loop from network operations and terminal hardware to application services.
The core product exhibited at the show — an industry-leading ultra-lightweight sub-broadband satellite communication terminal — is Stardubhe's automotive-grade solution designed for in-vehicle scenarios. It is deeply optimized for vehicle styling, roof space, power consumption and cost constraints, balancing performance and installation friendliness, and supports both pre-installation mass production by automakers and retrofit installation on existing vehicles, offering automakers and mobility operators a flexible, low-cost path to adoption and accelerating the popularization of satellite internet across vehicle models.
At the exhibition, the Stardubhe booth attracted many automakers, Tier1 suppliers and mobility platform partners, who engaged in in-depth discussions and signed strategic cooperation agreements on topics including pre-installation designation, scenario pilots, joint operations and service models. Amid the wave of vehicle intelligence, more and more automakers have recognized that "being online anywhere" will become an important part of the differentiated competitiveness of next-generation intelligent vehicles.
With the continuous deployment of low-orbit satellite internet constellations, the ongoing miniaturization of automotive-grade terminals and declining costs, multiple factors are converging, and the industrialization window for in-vehicle satellite internet has opened. Stardubhe continues to deepen its work in the in-vehicle satellite communication track, and with lightweight terminals, stable and reliable communication services and deployable scenario solutions, works with partners to build a space-ground integrated automotive intelligent connectivity ecosystem and connect every vehicle with satellites.
